Christmas 2009
Both Beau and Drew were home for Christmas and Grandma Trembly was here as well. We were able to visit Balboa Park (the 1st time we had been there in the 12 years we have been in Cali) and we also went to the Wild Animal Park!!

REXA
We have a new member in the Trembly house. .
Her name is Rexa and she is a 7 year old German Shepherd. We adopted her from Coastal German Shepherd Rescue who rescued her from a shelter. She needed a good home to live out her senior years.
It was pretty much a go the minute the rescue organization put her leash in our hands and told us to take her for a walk. We took Humor when we went to meet her and they were great together. Two old soles walking to the park together. The big test was when we got home. . How would she react to Windsor. She basically told him not to mess with her unless she felt like it and they have gotten along ever since.
She has had a bath and a few good brushings, will need more as there is a lot of hair that needs grooming. But she doesn't seem to mind the "Ferminator" and really did well during her bath. She is content to sleep while we watch football. We will keep you all posted!!

San Francisco 2009 - Guide Dog Fun Day Weekend
We traveled to San Rafael this weekend for "Fun Day" kind of an appreciation day for those of us who raise guide dog puppies put on by Guide Dogs for the Blind. Had a great day on campus, met some amazing visually impaired people and also met a hearing impaired lady at our motel. Love talking with these people!! Went to Pier 39, had a great bowl of Chowder and walked the Golden Gate Bridge!! Windsor did awesome, we had a blast!! Great, Great Weekend!!

Cycling Along the Coast
We took off around 7 this morning for a ride along the
Oceanside/Carlsbad coast. Weather was perfect and the view fantastic!!
We had a roadrunner in our front yard watching us leave!
Windsor was kind of bummed that he couldn't go with us
but very happy to get breakfast before we left!

Santa Ana River Ride
We left the house at 7:30 this morning for a great bike ride. We rode the Santa Ana River bed, starting in Corona and turning around at the Honda Center (the Ducks play there). Round trip was around 31 miles!! The river bed was full of birds; cranes, ducks, swallows.
All in all a great way to start the day!!!
